XIndice features

Hi,

I'm complete XIndice newbie :-) Could you help me a bit?

1) what will be the performance of XIndice compared to MySQL or PostgreSQL,
if I use it to hold about 100000 rows, each about 500 bytes in size?

2) does XIndice have some method to add an "event" on a node?
Something like this:

<car onUpdate="doSomething(this)" onDelete="doSomethingElse(this)">
     <make>Volvo</make>
     <year>1999</year>
</car>

If that's not supported yet, is it planned?
