[jira] Commented: (TAPESTRY-602) Add annotation to define default value of property
[ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TAPESTRY-602?page=comments#action_12356311 ]
Howard M. Lewis Ship commented on TAPESTRY-602:
-----------------------------------------------
This ones a little bit tricky. I'd like to add an @InitialValue annotation that would be used on a transient property accessor, or in conjunction with @Persist.
However, the order in which method annotations are applied is not defined and @InitialValue would have to occur AFTER @Persist, if any.

> If one uses annotations, there is currently no way to define a default value for a property.
