apache & tomcat problems

Hi all,
I'm trying to setup apache to work with tomcat w/o success. I can get both
to work separately w/o any problem, but when I place the line "include
e:\java\tomcat\conf\tomcat-apache.conf" into my httpd.conf file and re start
my apache, I get the message :
Could not start Apache service, error 1067, process terminated unexpectedly.
I configured apache to run on port 80 and tomcat to run on port 100. Does
that make any difference.

I also tried to start the tomcat first, then the apache, I got the same
error. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.

web.xml location

If I start tomcat with a different server.xml using the -f command line
argument, where does the web.xml file reside? I'm trying
to make my installation of tomcat no depend on anything in the
$TOMCAT_HOME/conf directory (so all my conf stuff can live in one
place, eg. Apache/Cocoon/Tomcat, etc)

I can't seem to find a way to set it, nor a way to determine if it's missing ...

Hi,

make sure that "Include <path-to-tomcat>/conf/tomcat-apache.conf" is the last
line of your httpd.conf
