Running whimsy's board agenda tool locally
Lightly tested on Ubuntu and Mac OS X.
Prerequisites:
* Ruby >= 1.9.3
* local checkout of foundation and committers/board from svn.
Setup:
* gem install whimsy-asf sinatra ruby2js tzinfo-data
* svn co
https://svn.apache.org/repos/infra/infrastructure/trunk/projects/whimsy/www/board/agenda
Configuration:
* place the attached file as .whimsy in your $HOME directory. Adapt as
needed. For now, don't worry about the :lib: entries.
Execution:
cd agenda; ruby main.rb; visit http://localhost:9292/ in your browser
Notes:
* svn directories may be updated (and reverted! and committed!) by the tool
* Functions that require LDAP (like emboldening member names) are disabled.
* Updates are still (for the moment) written to /var/tools/data, this
will become configurable.
