[Bug 6230] New: Remove massmailers from uridnsbl_skip_domain in 25_uribl.cf

https://issues.apache.org/SpamAssassin/show_bug.cgi?id=6230

Summary: Remove massmailers from uridnsbl_skip_domain in
                    25_uribl.cf
           Product: Spamassassin
           Version: 3.3.0
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: trivial
          Priority: P5
         Component: Rules
        AssignedTo: dev@spamassassin.apache.org
        ReportedBy: alex.uribl@gmail.com

Having massmailers in 25_uribl.cf prevents local URI zones from being queried.

If required these massmailers get enough bonus points from certification
services via DNSBLs + DKIM/SPF rules.

the concept of having them as uridnsbl_skip_domain to avoid URI BLs load is
obsolete as their traffic is peanuts compared to the bot fodder.

To be removed:

exacttarget.com
aweber.com
ientrymail.com
mediaplex.com
pm0.net
postdirect.com
advertising.com
netatlantic.com

Votes pls.

So I guess this can be closed now.

Understood. My comment was using a generic "your" as well.

If those domains are parked then it's unlikely they will appear as spam target
URIs. I withdraw my negative vote on them, if others feel they should be added.

Thanks Mark, for the edit. Wasn't sure if I should do these myself:

would like to add to the list of removals

partner2profit.com
smileycentral.com
tickle.com
topica.com
vistaprint.com
freelotto.com

yourfreedvds.com # atm, this is default OS page (?)

geocities.com # Site is closed and domain shouldn't show up in legit mail for
much longer

*possibly add:*

# Possible FPs yet frequently used in IT related mail
uridnsbl_skip_domain mydomain.com company.com

For whatever this is worth, both mydomain.com and company.com exist.
