FYI: using UNIVERSAL breaks XML::Xerces (bug 25788)

I just submitted:

It took over an hour to track this down.  Attached to this bug report is
a new test file the illustrates the problem.

Current the work around, is to ENSURE that your application does not use
UNIVERSAL, in any of its modules (alleast before XML::Xerces is used).

Generally one does not need load UNIVERSAL, but it shouldn't break
anything.
