[ANNOUNCE] Apache jclouds 2.4.0 released

The Apache jclouds team is pleased to announce the release of jclouds
2.4.0.

Apache jclouds is an open source multi-cloud toolkit for the Java
platform that gives you the freedom to create applications that are
portable across clouds while giving you full control to use
cloud-specific features.

The source archives for the release are available here:
https://jclouds.apache.org/start/install/

The Maven artifacts for the release are available in Maven Central,
under the org.apache.jclouds group ID.

The release notes are available here:
https://jclouds.apache.org/releasenotes/2.4.0/

We welcome your help and feedback. For more information on how to report
problems, and to get involved, visit the project website at:

Ah, probably... That script sued `sed`, and that's a usual suspect. I
always install `gnused` in OSX to get rid of that.

I used prepare_release.sh but must have messed up or some macOS vs.
Linux issue. Let's see if we can streamline the release maybe by
getting rid of labs or removing some other complexity.

Yeah, that's annoying. This is why we created the release script [1] and
updated the versions manually there. It's been a long time, though.
Probably this can be revisited and done in a much better and less hacky way.

Thanks for noticing -- I fixed this (although with the wrong commit
message). versions-maven-plugin looks busted for our configuration, see
https://github.com/mojohaus/versions-maven-plugin/issues/426 .

Nice one, however:

There are some thing looking wrong to me:

Why is the version in the master branch on github still 2.4.0-SNAPSHOT
Shouldn't that be that be > 2.4.0-SNAPSHOT ?

Thanks
