CPU Increase in 3.4.5 Java Client caused by SASL

Hi,

We noticed a significant CPU usage increase when deploying ZooKeeper 
3.4.5 Java client. I've opened ticket ZOOKEEPER-1657 [1] with some 
results from a profiling session.

Did anyone noticed this too? Is there a way to disable SASL in the Java 
client?
