HTTP Authorization Manager doesn't work
In my test plan I need to use http-authentication and therefore
I added a http auth-manager element to the thread group. it
should be available for all controllers and samplers below.
looking at the apache logs, there are only 401 response codes
(not logged in) for the secured area.
did I forget to configure anything? i did it like explained in the
docs....
thanks for your help,
hans

I have successfully used the HTTP-authentication with SSL. You need to
be careful to exactly match the URL (including the protocol https: and
the port number if it's there).
Hans: I'd suggest you set up a Tree Listener and check the actual URL
used in the request exactly matches the prefix you're giving in the HTTP
Authentication config element.
Good luck,
Jordi.

I've used HTTP authentication with SSL with mixed
results. Most requests are succesfully authenticated,
but some are not. Delete or disable the ones that
don't authenticate, and the next authentication in
line fails instead. Haven't really worked on figuring
this out yet.

It's always easier to diagnose people's problems when they send in the test plan
file. One thing is, I'm not sure the HTTP-authentication works with SSL - maybe
someone can tell me that. I've never tried it.
