---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: MERLIN-4
Summary: merlin.sh scripts have Windows line terminators
       Type: Bug

     Status: Unassigned
   Priority: Trivial

    Project: Merlin Core
 Components:
             Installation
   Versions:
             3.2

   Assignee:
   Reporter: Broc Seib

    Created: Sat, 10 Apr 2004 6:21 AM
    Updated: Sat, 10 Apr 2004 6:21 AM
Environment: FreeBSD nebula.home.######.com 4.7-STABLE FreeBSD 4.7-STABLE #0: Mon May 12 19:51:10 EST 2003 root@nebula.home.######.com:/u5/obj/usr/src/sys/GRYFFINDOR i386

Description:
This applies to the 3.2.5 release of Merlin.

Some of the scripts in ${MERLIN_HOME}/bin/ that are meant to be executed from a unix environment contain windows line terminators, which make them unable to execute, e.g.,

ksh: /opt/merlin/bin/merlin: No such file or directory

The files in question are:
  ${MERLIN_HOME}/bin/internal-unix.sh
  ${MERLIN_HOME}/bin/merlin
  ${MERLIN_HOME}/bin/merlinx

Many of the files in this directory should arrive with the execute bit set as well.
