[jira] [Created] (TORQUE-306) Use named variables for replacements
Thomas Fox created TORQUE-306:
---------------------------------
Summary: Use named variables for replacements
Key: TORQUE-306
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TORQUE-306
Project: Torque
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Runtime
Affects Versions: 4.0
Reporter: Thomas Fox
Currently, replacement values are addressed by their position in the replacement values list. If users are forced to create statements by hand, this is rather error-prone and not very useable.
It would be nice if an additional mechanism could be implemented by using named replacement parameters.
