When booting, if JMX URL is unavailable (null) for recording in boot properties, the daemon fails to initialize properly, yet remains up and not fully functional.  This information is not critical for daemon operation.  This event occurred when running a 1.8 OpenJdk JDK, which did not support the JMX function.
