100% CPU load upon start-up of Apache on XP

I can verify that.
I have also tried on a "fresh" install of Windows XP PRO XP1, and it still
consumes above 90% of the CPU.
Error also occurs regardless of what partition I install to.
(Note: Running NTFS 3.1 on all partitions)
I haven't managed to narrow down what the problem can be since the computer is
acting like a small server running mail, web, ftp and others (though I tried to
install Apache first)
Microsoft IIS 5.1 is running fine without any problems, just hope I won't have
to use it for too long.

My system: AMD Athlon XP 2100+, ASUS A7V8X  with latest beta BIOS, 768MB RAM,
Windows XP Professional SP1 with all the latest patches.
