[jira] [Updated] (HIVE-20530) Each metastore operation in S3 taking time due to pre event authorization

mahesh kumar behera updated HIVE-20530:
---------------------------------------
Description: During replication load we need not authorize each meta store operation as the table is created by the replication task itself. In s3, the authorization is managed through buckets so not sure if it make sense to have location level authorization. (was: The statistics operations access the file system to get the number of files created by the operation. In S3 it causes 2-3 seconds of delay. The file list can be obtained from the event info in the replication directory and can be used to update the statistics.)
