<p>You should be able to query for the declared output fields of the operation, the fields of the incoming tuples, and so on.</p>

<p>It would also be useful to have access to the underlying TopologyContext object to get things like the storm component id, worker port & machine the operation is running on for reporting and debugging purposes.</p>
