[jira] Created: (GERONIMO-4355) Download site updates

Download site updates
---------------------

                 Key: GERONIMO-4355
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-4355
             Project: Geronimo
          Issue Type: Bug
      Security Level: public (Regular issues)
          Components: documentation
            Reporter: Jarek Gawor

Proposed updates to the download page:

1) Change the page so that it does not give an impression that the .zip file is only for Windows platforms (or that .tar.gz file only for *nix platforms).

2) Add a note to use GNU tools to untar the .tar.gz file (especially on Solaris)
