feature request: per-server store-passwords setting

I mentioned this on #svn and was told I should send an email here...

I'd really really love it if I could toggle whether passwords are cached
on a per-server basis.  Or per-realm.  Or per-anything-other-than-my-whole-
installation.

I will not even pretend that I have the C skills to supply a patch, at
this time.  I'm just going on the record as saying that this seems like
a feature that should be listed in a list of features to implement,
somewhere.
