compilation of xalan

Hello,

Just a note.

I've tried to build xalan with JBuilder Foundation as environment. This does not compile. The compiler of JBF is stricter than the normal JDK compiler. It seems that a construction as:
    
    switch (....) {
        case xpath.OP_OR:
            break;
    }

does not compile. I've pickup from a other mailing list that the Java Language Specification does not consider this as a constant expression anymore. 

I've now switched to using the makefiles, this works.
