WSN component, performance

Hi all,

We're thinking of using WSN component for some of our use cases.

Shortly the use case is following: Events are coming from multiple
sources. Each source can send "standard" content but some might send
proprietary content. Therefore we have to distinct needed further
steps based on the sending source. WSN seems to provide tools to
tackle this with subscriptions and filters.

In our case we will end up having possibly thousands of data sources.
>From WSN point of view that would mean thousands of subscriptions.

The question now is: Has anybody used WSN component with thousands of
subscriptions? What is the impact of throughput when the subscription
(and filter) amount grows?
