BIGTOP

I'm playing around with the BIGTOP distribution in ambari and I'm having an
issue.

I've compiled from source and with the -Dstack.distribution=BIGTOP to build
my rpms.

Everything builds and installs fine, well the ambari-server part. I get to
a point in the installation where it just stops.

I get to step 6 and it won't go into the step 7 page, which is
customization of the configuration of the services before you deploy the
stack.

Has anybody encountered any issues like this with BIGTOP?

Thanks!

Hi Tony,

The Bigtop stack has not been updated recently. So it might have some
errors.
Do you see any errors on the UI at Step 7? I usually use Developer Tools ->
Console (in Chrome) to see the errors on the browser side.

Thanks,
Newton
