Perfect :-), thanks for a patch, applied to 2.6.x/2.7.x/trunk.
FYI, have a look at https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CXF-4783. Sasi M. provided a NonceVerifier implementation awhile back but at a time I was not ready to look into applying it, but I've created a different issue now to get that patch more visible; may be you can find that patch useful, I'll give it a try later on, cheers
