changing location of example

Newbie question , new to mailing list.

I think I've got struts running on my environment.
I am using Tomcat 4.0.4 and struts 1.0.2.

I extracted the stuts example (struts-example.war)
to a location /webapps/examples/../../../struts under
the tomcat examples. I've made some additions to the
/webapps/examples/WEB-INF/web.xml file and moved the
necessary files to the WEB-INF directory respectively
subdirecotries. 

When I chose the index.jsp in the struts directory it 
shows. But all links in are referring to the the
base directory /webapps/examples. 

What do I have to do, which settings to apply to 
install the examples application under a different path
or a path of my choice?
