   Some history of note on upgrading docker: from 1.9 we skipped 1.10 and 1.12 - under load testing we consistently found the daemon would lock up, or end up causing kernel panics. These were traced to synchronization bugs on docker. We picked up the fixed in 1.12. We?d have to stress test any upgrades, or pin docker docker version to deployments, which could be challenging to manage and test though.
