[jira] Created: (TUSCANY-853) Minor issues in the SCA doc
PythonExtension.html and RubyExtension.html
Minor issues in the SCA doc PythonExtension.html and RubyExtension.html
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: TUSCANY-853
URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TUSCANY-853
Project: Tuscany
Issue Type: Bug
Components: C++ SCA
Affects Versions: Cpp-M2
Reporter: Jean-Sebastien Delfino
Priority: Minor
Fix For: Cpp-M2
Minor issues in the SCA doc PythonExtension.html and RubyExtension.html:
Unless somebody in the groups has actually tested with Python 2.3 we should say 2.3.4.
We should mention the limitation that only simple types can be passed to a Python script component (unless we already support ElementTrees or another similar XML representation, and map that to DataObjects, but I've not seen any changes to actually support that).
Also add a note on the support for XML and DataObjects in Ruby components. DataObjects exchanged with a Ruby component are represented in Ruby as REXML Document objects. This is actually demonstrated in the RubyBank.
