I've tried various combinations of options, including just "WSDL2Java.sh -uri file:///home/.../SeismicService.wsdl -o ." and nothing seems to work - it prints the classpath, pauses for a second or two, then exits without any error. If I specify a bad WSDL location I get a CodeGenerationException: Error parsing WSDL, so I know the program is at least running.
