Net Telnet and HP Procurve
Hello,
I am connecting to a Procurve 2650 switch over telnet. It (the switch) is
returning gibberish along the lines of [24;1HPress any key to continue
[1;1H [?25h [24;27H [2J [?7l [3;23r [?6l [24;27H [?25h [24;27H [?6l [.
I am able to send some data to the switch, but not much. I am wondering if
this is a terminal type error since I was able to successfully connect to
and reboot a Cisco 1900 using the same method.
Thank you for your thoughts in advance.
Chris

Those look very much like escape sequences used to position the cursor etc.

It looks to me like the Procurve thinks it is talking to a terminal
that undestands escape sequence. Perhaps there is a command to tell
the Procurve that it is talking to a dumb terminal.

HI Chris-
Did you every figure this out? I'm running into the same problem.
Thanks.
