[jira] [Resolved] (ACE-502) Allow client to import DP from another
ACE instance
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACE-502?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
J.W. Janssen resolved ACE-502.
------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Fixed in rev #1646482:
An {{idp}} (import deployment package) command is added to the Workspace, which takes an URL to a deployment package (which should be a JAR file created by another ACE server). The command will:
- import all artifacts in the given DP;
- recreate all features, distributions and associations as defined in the DP.

> In some situations, it could be handy to be able to import deployment packages from another ACE server. For example, to set up specific ACE servers for specific targets.
> We could easily extend the Workspace of the ACE client to provide such a command.
