[PR] Deprecate the protected fields of AbstractMavenReport in favour of getters [maven-reporting-impl]
slachiewicz opened a new pull request, #256:
URL: https://github.com/apache/maven-reporting-impl/pull/256
`AbstractMavenReport` exposes `reactorProjects`, `repoSession`, `remoteProjectRepositories`, `siteTool` and `siteRenderer` as protected fields, which the Maven 4 API line cannot keep. This deprecates them in favour of protected getters (new: `getReactorProjects()`, `getRepoSession()`, `getRemoteProjectRepositories()`, `getSiteTool()`) and makes this class use the getters. The fields are still injected, so subclasses keep working.
Subclasses that read the fields directly and should move to the getters: maven-project-info-reports-plugin (`AbstractProjectInfoReport`, `DependencyConvergenceReport`, `DependencyManagementReport`), maven-checkstyle-plugin (`AbstractCheckstyleReport`, `CheckstyleAggregateReport`), maven-jxr-plugin (`AbstractJxrReport`), maven-pmd-plugin (`AbstractPmdReport`) and maven-surefire-report-plugin (`AbstractSurefireReport`).
Part of apache/maven#13309.
