I'm putting other Turkish volunteers in CC too.

Please, all of you, remember to post a comment at
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=122285
(you will need to register there, same page) to inform others that you
are working and to receive notification when others join.

I see there is already some activity on Pootle, good!

Since you are a team, it's recommended that you work on Pootle. It's
best if you use a personal account. To get a Pootle account it's enough
to request it on this mailing list (just reply to this e-mail and
mention your preferred username). Your contributions are assumed to be
under the OpenOffice license (Apache License, version 2).

Regards,
   Andrea.

welcome at Apache OpenOffice. Your description of what you are doing
sounds interesting and several ideas come into my mind. Maybe not only
you but a small team at your university is interested to help with a
Turkish translation. I don't know if possible or turn the translation
process of AOO into a university course ... well just some ideas

You are welcome as individual as well and you can immediately start to
help online on our Pootle server.

UI: https://translate.apache.org/tr/aoo40/
Help: https://translate.apache.org/tr/aoo40help/

The focus should be on the UI first and you can start to make suggestion
and later we will create an account on Pootle for you.

It would be also good if you post a short notice to this list that you
agree and accept that your translation work is contributed under the
ALv2 license. This makes things easier for the project.

Thanks

Juergen
