[jira] [Created] (INFRA-11311) Redirect https://whimsy.apache.org/ to whimsy-vm2

Sam Ruby created INFRA-11311:
--------------------------------

             Summary: Redirect https://whimsy.apache.org/ to whimsy-vm2
                 Key: INFRA-11311
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-11311
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Task
          Components: DNS
            Reporter: Sam Ruby
            Priority: Minor

Provide a new name (whimsy-old? old.whimsy?) by which the original whimsy-vm can be accessed via ssh proxy. Once that is in place, redirect whimsy.apache.org to whimsy-vm2, leaving whimsy-test in place for now.

I looked at the definition in infrastructure-puppet, but saw more entries in there than I could explain. I tried discussing this on the infra@ mailing list on Saturday, and then on hipchat on Sunday
