[jira] [Updated] (NIFI-2887) NumberFormatException in
HL7ExtractAttributes for repeating segments with order control codes
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-2887?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Joey Frazee updated NIFI-2887:
------------------------------
Description:
HL7ExtractAttributes is throwing a NumberFormatException [1] on repeating segment types that have an order control code instead of a sequence id in the first field; e.g., for the segment 'ORC|NW|987654321^EPC|123456789^EPC||||||20161003000000|||SMITH' the first field is 'NW' and not a numeric sequence id.
While many of the repeating types have a numeric sequence id in that position, not all do, so the sequence ids can't be used for indexing the segments in our attribute names.
