roller-custom.properties

Hello,

I saw in installation guide of 4.0 that roller-custom.properties must be
located in Tomcat's /common/classes.

Why should it be centralized for all Tomcat's web applications, and not per
web application?

Thanks

I also put it in WEB-INF/classes. Couldn't find anywhere else to put it on
GF2.

The reason we recommend putting roller-custom.properties outside of
the webapp is 1) so that it can be preserved when Roller is upgraded
or redeployed and 2) so that Roller can be deployed as a WAR and there
is no need to open that WAR file and edit files within.
