   This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage.
   
   Findings: this is an umbrella task (HUDI-9360) to deprecate builtin payload types in favor of mergers. There is partial progress: PR #13322 was merged (commit db53ae5, removing the deprecated duplicate AWSDmsAvroPayload class), but PR #13334 was closed without merging, and the JIRA sub-tasks HUDI-9361 (Deprecate ExpressionPayload for MIT, In Progress) and HUDI-9362 (Open) remain unresolved; per the maintainers the Expression and metadata payloads still remain.
   
   Keeping open until the remaining payload deprecations land.
