set cookie for a mobile site
Hi,
I am using the cookie manager and viewing the HTTP requests through the
view results tree listener. I able to set a cookie on a desktop site
(www.whatever.com), however not on a mobile site (m.whatever.com).
Does anyone know why this is?
Many Thanks
Paul

Hi Deepak,
Many thanks on your analysis. It was correct.
The domain in the cookie manager was set to 'www' and not 'm'. After
changing that, the cookie is sent in the request.

Hi
it should work - when you say doesnt "set" , you are looking at the first
request and you are seeing the cookies sent say the request tab of view
results tree listener?
Ensure that the domain in cookie manager is m.whatever.com and that you
dont have redirect automatically in your http sampler
Otherwise please share more details of what your test plan looks like and
what you are checking (it is possible m.whatever.com is detecting you are
not a mobile app and redirecting you back somewhere or something like that)
