New Source Resolving
Hi,
it took a long time ... but there is a little light at the end of the
tunnel.
Or in other words: most parts for reintegrating the avalon excalibur source
resolving into Cocoon and deprecating the Cocoon source resolving are
finished.
Status:
- The Excalibur Source Resolver is integrated in Cocoon but not activated
yet
- The special Cocoon protocols (resource/context/cocoon) are implemented,
but
only resource has been tested
- Wrappers exist for Cocoon Source Factories to be used with the Avalon one
(not tested yet)
ToDo:
- deprecating all old code
- adding the xmlizer from avalon to our environment.SourceResolver interface
- fixing some minor problems in the cocoon protocol
- Migrating the WritableSource and DelayedSource parts

Send in a patch.

This stylesheet (IIRC) designed to show one level. Write your own if you
need more.

DirectoryGenerator documentation
Posted by William Brogden <wb...@mpinet.net>.
I am having a problem understanding the documentation of
DirectoryGenerator
in org.apache.cocoon.generation. In the Javadocs, the configuration
options
listed are:
depth and dateFormat
but the source shows that parameters named
root, include, and exclude
are also used to make regular expressions. Shouldn't they be in the
docs?
Furthermore, just using different values for the "depth" parameter
does not seem to make any difference in the resulting display using
the stylesheets/system/directory2html.xsl supplied.
