[jira] [Closed] (MESOS-315) Support CFS Bandwidth Control in cgroups.

Benjamin Mahler closed MESOS-315.
---------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

This is now committed, currently if CFS Bandwidth Control is enabled, it is enforced for everything running under the slave, which is not ideal. We will be able to change this when we make Resources first class in the protobufs (we can inform schedulers of isolation levels).

See: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MESOS-338

> Newer kernels have CFS Bandwidth Control facilities in cgroups.

> We'd like to support this in order to provide a better mechanism for "hard" cpu limiting.
