wildcard preceding term

Hi all,

Again, this might seem a little naive but is it possible to do
searches with '*' preceding a term?
I'm assuming not?

Thanks in advance.

No wild card queries can only be done, following the term,
there have been an on going discussion on the forums try searching
for wildcard queries on :

Assumption correct. I think this may be in the jGuru's Lucene FAQ.
