Problem with tasklist plugin

Hi all, 

I just got problem with tasklist plugin. 
I have some developers who routinely use german
characters ( � ) in javadoc comments and @todo tags

Xml parsers do not like them. Setting 
maven.docs.outputencoding=iso-8859-1
helps somehow. 

But tasklist plugin which is vdoclet based, ignores
this setting completely. 

So I get:

Shall I go ant patchs templates of vdoclet?
