[jira] [Commented] (OAK-857) MongoMK: support for many child nodes

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-857?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13840107#comment-13840107 ]

Thomas Mueller commented on OAK-857:
------------------------------------

Revision 1548152 (test case)

When running the test case with more nodes, I noticed the MongoNS performance stays linear even after 1 million child nodes.

To things up speed up, the test disables the complete nodetype index. Once OAK-1150 is fixed, this should no longer be needed.

> When there are using many child nodes (many siblings), the MongoMK is very slow. This is mainly because it loads all children whenever diff() is called.
> There are related issues in oak-core (mainly in KernelNodeState and ModifiedNodeState)
