[jira] Commented: (HADOOP-4105) libhdfs wiki is very out-of-date and contains mostly broken links

Doug Cutting commented on HADOOP-4105:
--------------------------------------

This is in part why the wiki should not be considered authoritative documentation. The preferred way to fix this would be to add documentation to trunk that is updated as the code is patched and replace this wiki content with a link to the official documentation on the website. The wiki is best for community information, not for code documentation.

> This thing is way out of date and seems incorrect in some places. Also note it is not linked from the wiki front page.
