.net and axis interop - arraylist

i have been having problems when dealing with arraylists and .net client and axis.  i have been able to have successful communications with simple data types ( strings and such ) but when i attempt to use an arraylist i get the following error when running wsdl.exe from the .net side.  i used to get a problem with the namespace ( tns3 not defined ) but after pulling the latest code from cvs i get this error instead.  any help would be greatly appreciated.
