jira changes

* I created a 4.0.0-alpha-1 version number in Jira for changes fixed in
master
* Nearly all of the 3.x roadmap issues have now been moved to 4.x (or
closed/adjusted if more appropriate)
* If anyone has some free cycles, helping identify any easy issues and
marking them with the 'contrib' label would be greatly appreciated

I noticed many projects are now using the more descriptive
'contributors-welcome' label instead of just 'contrib'. Do others think we
should swap over to using that?

Cheers, Paul.

"help-wanted" could make contributors think the issue is very hard to fix ;-)

GitHub uses “help-wanted” which is a bit shorter and very clear.
