[jira] [Commented] (AMBARI-5004) Many YARN configs are duplicated in MR2 configs

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-5004?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13926095#comment-13926095 ]

Nate Cole commented on AMBARI-5004:
-----------------------------------

YARN metainfo.xml defines two services, which means that each service will load the properties in the configuration directory. In this case, YARN and MAPREDUCE2 will have matching config names.

> Now MR2 and YARN share the same folder in stacks/HDP/2.1.1/services/YARN, and a lot of (more than 50) YARN configs existed in MR2 service too.
> eg. {code}
> GET /api/v1/stacks2/HDP/versions/2.1.1/stackServices/MAPREDUCE2,{code} there are properties like {code}yarn.resourcemanager.resource-tracker.address{code} ,etc.
> So these config properties should show up for YARN ONLY.
