Re: build problems
I'm getting the exact same "NoClassDefFoundError: is"
using a Debian system w/ JDK 1.3 and I tried checking
it out from CVS several times. Can anyone give me
aid?

I had the same problems, but then I checked out
everything from CVS
again and now I've got my war-file.
Remark: this doesn't mean I have Jetspeed
running as it should.
I had to replace the jaxp.jar and parser.jar
under the tomcat/lib
directory with the most recent xalan and xerces
jars.
Now I still have a problem with the database
connection to Oracle.

With the help of you and Santiago and some folks on
the Ant Dev list I was finally able to get Jetspeed to
build. Thanks so much for your help!

Okay, I'm getting different results now, but still not
able to build. Following the directions on the web
page for Jetspeed installation says to do ./build.sh
webapp . When I do that it replys there is no webapp
target in this build file. Is this just a case of the
documentation being out of date? What is the correct
step?

I have seen the same problem. It is due to something weird in build.sh.
I will take a look.
You should ensure that JAVA_HOME in your shell points to the directory
where the jdk is, like
export JAVA_HOME=/usr/java/jdk1.3.1_01 under bash.
