+This branch of the Subversion site (^/subversion/site-ng) will be used
+to change the site infrastructure in several ways. The goals, in order
+of importance, are:

+   * Stop using server-side includes. Instead, use a simple template system
+     to construct a static published site. The main reason is that a static
+     site is much easier to test and review locally.

+   * Change the current site source from HTML to some simplified markdown
