The main issues says about this sub-task:

4. Buildbot updating these nightly 
-- Currently buildbot is doing this close to what we want on the snapshot level found here:

-- We will need to fix some of this, but let's wait until this gets resolved. 

Personally I think that is overkill, what you need is a local script to check for svn updates and apply them if needed then restart the demo(s).
Let me know if you want me to do that.

Also, please create a new issue indicating what you need fixing/tweaking for the snapshots.
