empty database tables

Hi,

I understand from the source code JDBCDescriptorsStore , the values
URI,NODE TYPE,NAMESPACE ..
are stored in respective slide databse tables

I am using hSQL.I have created a webfoleder and copied few files in it.
When i query slide database tables. I don't find any slide data base tables
like OBJECTS,children....property.

I wonder how it is working without using the database.

Is it how , it is supposed to work?

Thanks,
Rama

You have to configure hSql to work in client - server mode. Slide uses it in
file mode, which doesn't allow you to open another connection from another
application (but is faster, and more importantly works right out of the
box).
In the default config file, hSql isn't configured like that because it would
require the user to have things to configure.

Either try to :
- Close Slide, then open the database with your other application
- Configure the hSql driver to connect to an hSql server, and then use the
other application to connect to the server
