Open Source SOAP ISAPI extension available in a first beta.

Hi,

It is a pleasure for me to announce that the first version of an
SOAP ISAPI extension for Microsoft(TM) Internet Information Server for
Windows(TM) NT4.0 and Windows(TM) 2000, is available as open source.

As a base for SOAP we used open source IdooXoap-C.
All the source code and documentation is available for free download, the
extension
will propably be added as a contribution to the IdooXoap open source
project.
The extension uses pure C++, no COM (but it is of course possible to use it
on Windows(TM)).

If there is interest a next step might be a SOAP module for Apache server,
that
uses in most parts (except the innermost web-server interface) the same
source code. Any contributions welcome.

Visit http://www.webware.at/SOAP/index.html for more details.

defaultRegistryClass

Posted by Rob Englander <ro...@mindstrm.com>.
I've added a defaultRegistryClass attribute to the deployment descriptor
isd:mapping element. This works fine for getting my service to unmarshall
an incoming envelope. But when the same service tries to marshall the
same kind of object for a response it reverts to using the regular default
instead of the one specified in my deployment descriptor.

Is this a bug? Or is there some other attribute I need to setup to get
the proper marshalling for the server side response?
