Re: [VOTE] Re: 3.0 M2 Release Vote

The vote has been open for over 72 hours and we have the following results:

-1: 0
 0: 0
+1: 4 (all binding)

That indicates a successful vote for release. So, I guess the next step is
actually posting the artifacts and update the Web site.

Well, for me, it can be harder to look at it during the week. I'm not
even going to guess for others. I've been relatively busy lately and
feel like a dead weight here. My Cayenne to-do and wish list keep
getting pushed off. I'm still hopeful, though. :-)

Ok, my hotel room in GMT +3 last night turned out to have no internet
at all, so instead I chose to go to a reggae concert and drink beer
all night :-) Tonight I am on US East Coast, and should be able to
publish the release first thing Sunday morning.

BTW, if I remember correctly, Andrus is GMT+0200, which means he is 7
hours ahead of the US East Coast. That means it is unlikely he'll
want to do something on a weeknight with us (6pm for us would be 1am
for him).

Andrus, if you want to be part of it, would sometime this weekend be
good? Otherwise I guess Kevin and I could try to do it.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do it the past couple nights. I had another
deadline with a ROP project (as you probably saw).

Tonight is a no-go for me too . . . Got a soccer game.

Tomorrow evening I will have time for sure. But, if you and Andrus want to
handle it before then, by all means go ahead. I don't want to hold anything

FWIW: I just tried my Nested Data Context test here (had it at the
office) and although it worked better than the M1 release, it still
had issues (at least I think so -- I could just not understand the NDC
usage). This is not enough to hold up an M2 release, but I thought
I'd mention it.

Heh. I thought I was helping out by doing it on a Monday. I figured that
way everyone had time during the week to do the testing and the release
could be posted by the end of the week. Also, for a purely selfish reason,
it's easier for me to take the necessary time to build the assemblies over
the weekends.

If weekends do work better in general though, we can make it a rule of thumb
to raise votes on Thurs. or Fri.
