[jira] [Commented] (JCR-3594) how to create a new repository programmatically or how to create a new workspace in jack rabbit?

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCR-3594?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13656908#comment-13656908 ]

David Buchmann commented on JCR-3594:
-------------------------------------

each jackrabbit has exactly one repository. to get several, you would need to run several instances of it (in tomcat you could put several copies of jackrabbit.war with different names into your tomcat and configure them differently)

to create a new workspace, see http://www.day.com/maven/javax.jcr/javadocs/jcr-2.0/javax/jcr/Workspace.html#createWorkspace%28java.lang.String%29 (if this is not supported, you need to update to a newer jackrabbit - but i think 2.4.3 should already support it)
